Letting Go

There comes a time in everyone's life when you have the option to let go of something. Be it a project, a dream or a person.

It is never easy to let go of the thing that has added joy or value in your life, and in those cases you should ask yourself if closing that chapter, is the right thing to do. However, there are times when things are not getting you further or are not progressing. Those are the moments when moving on might be in your best interest.

Letting go of empty dreams will open the possibilities for new dreams to form. Closing a project that cannot go any further or go anywhere, will free up your time for new projects that have a better return. Walking away from a person in your life that has only held you back and made you miserable, will set you free to live your own life or meet new people.

All these are hard to let go of. Look in your heart and forget what your head is telling you. Your heart will guide you in the right direction, no matter how difficult it may be. Usually if the decision was the right one and the intent was honorable, you will not feel a loss but more of a relief.

You will be able to move on with ease and peace of mind. And if the decision was wrong, although difficult, one can always make amends and return to that which you gave up. At least then, you find more value in it.

Let us not stagnate in waters that are muddy and saturated. Find a clear stream and seek a new refreshing hope in life.
